The Chinese New Year is THE most important period in Chinese calendar because it marks the beginning of the year of “Dragon”, which symbolizes prosperity, wisdom and power.
The New Year is a time to clear out all the old dust around the house in hopes of getting rid of bad luck of the past year and welcome the good luck and happiness this year. It is also the time for the (Chinese) family to gather for their reunion celebration. Yes, a CELEBRATION!
Thus, Orangee Productions, in cooperation with Alphaland Corporation, brings you “A Chinese New Year Festival,” an event happening on January 19 – 31, 2012. The venue will be at the 3rd floor of Alphaland Southgate Tower, EDSA corner Chino Roces Avenue, Makati City. The event shall feature the following happenings:
Entrepreneurs classified as part of the small- and medium-scale industries are invited to showcase their products and merchandise for this three-day New Year bazaar. This event aims to provide a venue for small- and medium-scale entrepreneurs to further develop their business skills and help them reach their target market easier. Also, part of the proceeds will be used to fund the outreach community project of the sorority.

The MACA Bazaar is a pre-Valentines Day bazaar which is an avenue for young entrepreneurs and innovators to be able to sell their products and/or services to the public. The creative businessmen and women can showcase the unique selling propositions and advantages of their product. On the other end, eager customers will be able to look for the perfect gift for their loved ones this Valentines season. Come visit us in Greenmeadows Basketball court on February 11-12, 2012 from 9:00am to 5:00pm. See you there!
